Using Blog and Ping is still the way to go but why blog in the first place?
This is not your normal EZINE. I am on alot of Internet marketing
guru's lists and I read most of them sent to me. It seems every
day there is a must have tool to do this or that, or Jim Bob made
30,000 in 1 month with this tool. Sometimes they get me to their
site. Sometimes I even buy! Most times I don't.
Save your money. There is enough free info out there to keep money
in your pocket.
Here are my rules:
Automated tools are scary. I do not use them (with two exceptions)
You are smarter than you think. Most of these programs do not
employ common sense but hype. You do not need it that day before
their bogus offer will expire. If you are really ready to buy, go
have lunch, watch the ballgame, and see if you still are that into
it. I bet not. I have bought some which automate things but if used as directed you are sure to foul things up. There are only two pieces of software I have bought in the last year that work so far. One I have tested for months and the other I recently bought.
The first is SEO Elite. This is a great tool just to have let alone use as they mention. It has some great functions for analyzing where you rank, your link partners, and who is where in the search engines. It looks for the top results for your search term and helps you analyze why they are tops and you are not. Another overlooked feature is the getting link partners to link back to your site as well as see who still is linking back to you on previous agreements. This is key as many times I have found that people make arrangements only to suddenly remove the links once they see your link back. Not everyone is as honest as you! You can read more of the sales letter of SEOElite here.
The other software which I just recently purchased is RSS2Blog. I hate blogs. I never have done any in my life before now. It is like dusting the house. I know it has to be done but I would rather drive my car into a wall than do it. Maybe I have a complex? Maybe you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But I bit the bullet and got into blogs. I knew I would never be able to write something every day so I bought this program to help me keep it up to date. Seems to have many nice features and great help section with videos. No hype. I just know I need it and you will too. You can learn more about RSStoBlog and watch videos & demo logins here. Take a minute and watch the video and see the demo. You will buy it like I did. And they give you very nice bonuses after you buy which surprised me... even days later.
