Adwords tip that has worked for me: Bid 1 penny more than you would normally and do not end bids in a 5 or 0 such as .25 or .50. I would bet most bid in those… so bid a bit higher.

Also when starting a campaign I find it is MUCH better to bid the highest possible amount per click you can afford and then change it lower after a few days. I see much better clicks on campaigns when I do this.
